A grid people can actually work in
Multiple saved views per table. Filters that nest, so "in negotiation, and either high priority or over 50k" is one rule. Grouping three levels deep. Summaries under every column. Linked records, lookups and rollups, because a real model has relations.
Screens that belong to the person using them
Describe what you want and it gets built on your data, inside your theme. You decide per page whether it is locked, a starting point people may change, or a blank canvas. A page somebody breaks is their page, and a version away from working again.
Nothing hidden behind an export button
Every app has a REST base, an MCP address and a CLI from the day it exists, and they all answer with the same permissions as the person whose credential is being used.
