MCP
Your apps as a tool server, with your permissions attached.
Connect
One address covers every app of your suite you belong to:
claude mcp add acme https://acme.gtable.app/mcpOr connect a single app, which is the right choice for an integration that must touch that app and nothing else:
claude mcp add acme-crm https://acme.gtable.app/crm/mcpWorks with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and anything else speaking MCP over HTTP.
What the agent sees
The tool list is built from your permissions. A table you cannot read is not listed, so the model never tries and never has to be told no. Tools are named after the operations they mirror: records_list, records_create, schema_get. On the suite address, apps_list says which apps you can reach and every tool takes an appId.
Each tool says what it does in its hints: readOnlyHint for a read, destructiveHint for anything that deletes or rewrites many rows at once (a bulk delete, a SQL update), so a client that asks before destructive calls asks at the right moments.
Lists
A list tool returns { data, meta }. When meta.hasMore is true, pass meta.nextCursor back as cursor for the next page. The tool descriptions ask the model to narrow its filter first, because walking pages spends tokens on paging rather than on thinking.
What MCP does not do
Upload a file. A tool call is JSON a model writes, and a file is bytes, so uploads are not tools: upload with the CLI or the REST API, then attach the descriptor you get back with an ordinary record write, which is a tool. Minting or revoking a key is not a tool either: a person does that in a signed-in browser.
Writes happen as you
A write from an MCP client is applied straight away, with your permissions, exactly as if you had made the call yourself. It is not held for approval: that is your client's job, and most clients ask before running a tool. Every write lands in the change history, and a create, edit or delete of records can be undone from there. See Versioning and undo.
The assistant built into Duvapps is different: it proposes, and you apply.
