# Remove someone from an app

`DELETE https://studio.gtable.app/v1/apps/{appId}/members/{userId}`

Takes away access to this app only.

They stay in the directory and keep every other app they are in, and the records they created stay, those belong to the app.

Requires the `members:write` scope. Operation `members.remove`. MCP tool `members_remove`. CLI, once published: `gtable members remove`.
