# Change one of your saved views, as the builder

`PATCH https://studio.gtable.app/v1/apps/{appId}/views/{viewId}`

Only a view that is yours.

`config` merges shallowly: a key you send replaces that key, anything you leave out keeps its saved value.

Requires the `records:write` scope. Operation `apps.views.update`. MCP tool `apps_views_update`. CLI, once published: `gtable apps views update`.
