# Delete an app

`DELETE https://studio.gtable.app/v1/apps/{appId}`

Takes the app off its suite's address, then marks it deleted.

Its object, rows and files are kept for thirty days, apps.deleted lists it and apps.restore brings it back at the same path, and then purged for good: the object's storage, its files, its assistant conversations and its rows in the control plane. Credentials and invite links naming it are revoked and stay revoked. Send the app's name as `confirm`.

Requires the `schema:write` scope. Operation `apps.delete`. MCP tool `apps_delete`. CLI, once published: `gtable apps delete`.
