# Delete your own comment

The record's history keeps saying a comment was added and now also says one was removed: a log that erased its own evidence would be no log at all.

Requires the `records:write` scope. Operation `comments.delete`. MCP tool `comments_delete`. CLI, once published: `gtable comments delete`.
